| Welcome to the 2008 Sunfish North Americans hosted
by the Erie Yacht Club. Presque
Isle Bay is ideal for Sunfish sailing . The Bay is
self contained and often has better winds than on Lake
Erie.
Presque Isle Bay is a flat, fresh water venue where
winds average 8-12 knots if out of the West and 15-22
if an easterly blows through. Depending on wind direction
the sailing area is 5-15 minutes from the club. The club
has 3 hoists and 2 ramps for launching. Plenty of room
for trailers and dollies. We look forward to seeing you
in July. |
