Sorry, due to the number of expected participants housing will be provided for Regatta Officials only. If you are helping with the event and need housing please email email Debbie Giewont or call 814-459-3365 (leave message) no later then 6/14. Indicate number or persons and if a preference to house or boat at club.

Camping

Lawn camping and Winnebago parking are available at the Club for $10 (per boat) a night. Includes bathroom facilities, electricity, pumpout, Internet, and laundry machines. To reserve camping email Holly O'Hare by 7/1. Please indicate tent or Winnebago. If 2 tents for one boat let me know so we have enough lawn space.

You can pay for camping at registration or in advance. If paid in advance please send with your event entry. You can make one payment for camping and event entry. You can pay by check or credit card (visa and mc only).

Local Dorms

Gannon University will provide overnight accommodations in Wehrle Hall located at: 211 West 6th St. about 7 minutes from the Club. We will need to confirm the exact number of single and double occupancy rooms no later than June 14, 2006.

Rooms will include 2 single beds, 2 desks, 2 desk chairs, 2 dressers, and 2 wardrobes. Each room is air-conditioned and the level can be controlled in the room. Bring your own pillow, sleeping bag, and towels. No smoking. Any adult beverages should be brought in coolers and only consumed in room as there is a no alchohol policy.

Fees for overnight accommodations are:
$194 per week for a single room (one person per room)
$180 (per person) per week for double room (two persons per room)

Hotel/Motel options:

*Erie is a tourist town in the summer so getting rooms may be difficult so call as soon as possible. We have made some arrangements.

All hotels/motels listed are within 10 minutes from the Club.

Comfort Inn: 24 non-smoking rooms blocked from 7/7-15. An additional 10 if checkout on 7/14. $99 per night + tax. Out-door pool, includes hot breakfast. These will be on hold until June 7. Reserved under "Snipe Regatta". (814) 835-4200. 3041 W 12th St, Erie, 16505

Note: this hotel recently changed from a Hampton to a Comfort Inn. If you received a letter from Hampton about your reservation please disregard. You can call the "new" Comfort Inn to confirm. Same owners, same location, very good quality...

Clarion-Bel Air: Full service hotel with very nice restaurant and bar. 2800 W. 8th Street: 2 double beds, includes hot breakfast buffet, indoor pool $129 (814) 833-1116.

Lake Erie Lodge - The Lake Erie Lodge is a AAA rated, rustic style motel offering comfortable and attractive accommodations. We maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in order to insure you enjoy an excellent stay with us time and time again.

El Patio: Older motel close to the Penninsula. Rooms are o.k. 2950 W. 8th one queen or 2 doubles, outdoor pool $89 Fri and Sat. (814) 838-9772 $69 Sun-Thurs.

Inn at Presque Isle: 2930 W. 6th St. 2 double beds/outdoor pool $95.00 (814) 838-1961.

Low Budget Motels

Park Plaza Motel: 2510 West 8th Street Erie, PA 16505 814-833-9841. No reservations until May. Next door to the Rodeway. Pool. No breakfast or coffee pots. Rates are $50-$80 a night.
